Kameyama, Oshima
Oshima is a small island off the coast of Kesennuma city. To get there, you’ll need to take the ferry from Kesennuma Port. The ferry leaves every hour from [time] until [time]. If you’ll be going on foot, you probably won’t need to make a reservation in advance, however the spaces for cars tend to fill up quickly (especially on the weekends), so I’d recommend calling ahead to check availability. Kameyama is the highest mountain on the island, and from the peak, you can get picturesque views of the surrounding area. Oshima also has one of the few swimming beaches open in Kesennuma now. The roads on the island are also very bicycle friendly, and would make for a great half-day trip.
